I only give it 1 star because I'm not allowed to give 0. This place has the most ridiculously awful service I have ever experienced. We ordered delivery from them and they said 30-45 minutes. An hour and fifteen minutes later the food shows up, with an extremely apologetic driver who said that "one of his coworkers didn't package the soup correctly" so our food was soaked with soup. He said he would go back to get more soup and bring it to us. We were already displeased, but then opened the disgusting, dirty containers to find something other than what we ordered! By this time it was 10 minutes before they close, so I repeatedly called them and no one picked up the phone. We are still waiting for our soup, an hour and a half after we placed our order, and we can't even reach a manager to discuss our concerns. Eat here at your own risk. I've never ever had such bad service in my life.

The lunch menu is extensive. Prices range from $5.95 - $6.75 and you get to choose between 3 different soups. The food itself is not as good as Panda Express. My kung pao had thin strips of battered and fried checken, which is not how you're supposed to be made. Overall the food was a bit greasy (especially the egg roll) and tasted a bit blah. The hot & sour soup was decent and satisfying - especially on the cold day. Service is at the"typical chinese" restaurant level-it's very basic, not attentive, and that's fine by me. Go to support a mom & pop shop and fill your belly, but don't go expecting deliciousness.

Food is alright. Typical of a "chinese take out/delivery" place. Takeout may be fine, but do not order delivery. They told me it would take 45 min to an hour and it took well over an hour and a half to deliver. Try China Wok instead. Prompt delivery and better food.

The lighting is not good at all. This place needs to close for a week and redo the store and act like they give a darn. No lighting on the outside (looks closed) and no signs pointing to busiest street. The prices were way too high for what we actually got. Wife ordered a "family meal" that was supposed to come with rice. Did not. I ordered a "banquet meal" that included rice as well but it was enough for one person. Do not order the egg drop soup. CLEARLY was not made fresh. No military discount available but the lady included 2 chicken wings. I alerted the Asian lady that the place needed more lights but she responded to me with no Asian accent at all, her English was not good. Not very decorated there. Place needs a TV and a paint job. Paint job because there were areas like they had almost either tried to paint or they covered up holes or something. Food was not very good at all. Egg roll was too salty. We ended up spending almost $30, for 2 people, and got very little. Save your money and go somewhere else. Buffet is almost that price for better food. It just doesn't look like this place cares what they look like as a restaurant or tastes like for restaurant food. Needs to close down for at least a week and get a better game plan together and show that they care. The good things about this restaurant is that it is in grubhub.com . Had plenty of space in the not busy restaurant but the lighting really is poor so didn't really want to stay there. For a Chinese restaurant, not very Chinesey except for the fake banzai trees around. Nothing special to bring people in or keep them there. For as not busy as the place was, we could have at least gotten some fresh food.

This place cooks delicious chinese food. They always cook plenty for what you pay! Their food is very tasteful and the staff is very welcoming when you arrive. Beautiful dining area to enjoy a delicious meal. This is definitely a great place to grab a delicious meal that will leave your tummy happy and your wallet pretty thick!

So not worth the money. We got orange chicken and sesame chicken, both were very bland. The sesame chicken wasn't even mixed correctly so it was runny with a glob of sticky stuff and since it was not mixed correctly it tasted like corn starch. The rice was also dry and they do not offer fried rice which was also a disappointment. We ordered it take out but while we sat there and waited a couple people called in delivery orders...the wait was one hour 45 mins to 2 hours! I couldn't believe that wait time. Will not be back, we'll go across the street to panada instead.

Would of given this dump a minus if I could. Ow my god, the worst food I have ever had. Even their tea was nothing but hot water, no taste of tea. You couldn't even find any chicken in my chow mein. Inside is dark, sad looking. Should not have stayed, lunch time and no one in there. Do not waste your time or money on this place.

Was really sad to hear the last time I came in to eat that it was going to be changing ownership and that the chef, whose food I've loved for years was also going to be leaving as well. By now I think the changeover probably has already happened. No idea what the new ownership will modify or what it tastes like now, but previous to them there was no better veggie and rice dish in the city and overall they were just a great restaurant. They didn't really have the "looks" so to speak, but in terms of the actual cuisine being delicious, this small and out of the way lil dive was second to none.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
